GREEN after consultant/specialist initiation: treatment options for Parkinson’s Dementia for psychosis, aggression, and agitation/anxiety as per NICE NG71 recommendations. (See Managing Behavioural Problems in Patients with Dementia guideline) (Decision date - April 2023)

• Starting dose for PDDC - 1.5mg BD (oral capsules)
• Maintenance dose range - 3mg - 6mg BD (oral capsules)
• Maximum dose - 6mg BD (oral capsules)
• Rivastigmine patches may be an option if oral capsules are poorly tolerated or if carers have problems administering them
