GREEN: 1st line. Standard/immediate release (IR) preparation is preferred for urinary incontinence (Decision date - June 2022, June 2023)
GREY: Modified Release (MR) preparation. The MR preparation should only be used if the IR is unsuitable (i.e. for those who may be at higher risk of sudden deterioration in their physical or mental health). (Decision date - August 2020)
GREY: oxybutynin patches - for use in patients who are unable to tolerate the oral medication. (Decision date - January 2016)
