RED: The British Society for
Rheumatology Guideline for the Management of Gout recommend that probenecid and benzbromarone are only available for the treatment of
patients with gout in the UK on a named patient basis, and patients
requiring these unlicensed drugs should be under the care of a
rheumatologist.
