Patient Group Directions

The tables below include two sets of PGDs; table 1 includes those approved for local use across Derbyshire only and; table 2 includes those jointly approved by Public Health England and NHS England for use across all NHS England North Midlands Practices.

The Resuscitation Council (UK) has directed that a PGD for adrenaline injection is not required for anyone (whether a healthcare professional or not) to administer intramuscular adrenaline for the purpose of saving a life in an emergency. Further information can be found at www.resus.org.uk
